805 Insulation provides a superior product. Yes, they vacuum out 40-year-old blown in Insulation that has lost more than half its Insulation R value. Then instead of just replacing it with batts, they carefully install material around every electrical source that lights your ceiling fixtures. They seal cracks. They also ensure that the vents won't be blocked. Only then do they blow in the new insulation which is similar to pellets. They measure the depth to make sure it's spread equally. As a result, the R value is more than doubled. The new pellet insulation will not pack down over years. For our size attic, this work was done in less than 2 days.Everything was cleaned up. Now our home will be cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
